Since Nov. 2012: Trial Monitoring: Observation of various proceedings as a representative of the DJS and the ELDH, e.g. against lawyers in Turkey, the trial against Ahmed H. in Hungary, or the preliminary proceedings against the crew of the civilian sea rescue vessel Iuventa in Italy.
Since May 2017: European Association of Lawyers for Democracy & World Human Rights (ELDH): Representative of the Democratic Jurists Switzerland (DJS) on the Executive Committee of the ELDH.

Background and Activities

Even during my legal training, I began applying my legal knowledge in various contexts – including from 2009 to 2011 at an advisory office for asylum and migration law in Biel, from 2012 as a trial observer particularly in Turkey, from 2013 to 2017 at a women's advice centre in Bern, and as a lecturer for "legal first-aid courses" for activists. After completing my law degree, I undertook various internships as part of my legal training, including at the law firm advocomplex in Bern (2013) and at the law firm Langstrasse 4 in Zurich (2014).

Since 2017, I have been working as a lawyer specialising in asylum, migration, and criminal law, with a particular focus on international law. Furthermore, since the summer of 2021, I have been working as a lawyer for the Legal Centre Lesvos in Greece. Through this commitment, I have been able to further specialise in the documentation of human rights violations and international complaint procedures within the context of ongoing border violence.

My legal work is complemented by my second degree in Anthropology and Gender Studies. The perspectives gained there on power structures, statehood, gender relations, and my own positionality shape my legal practice.

After eight years at Advokatur 4A GmbH, I opened my own practice in 2026. Please contact me with enquiries regarding specific mandates.
